We are delighted to welcome Adrian as our new Director of Supply Chain and Procurement Recruitment. Here's a chance to get to know him a little better...
What attracted you to Edwards & Pearce?
I was drawn to the consultative, people-focused culture at E&P. I enjoy working in an environment where relationships genuinely matter and where people work together to achieve the best outcomes for clients and candidates.
I also appreciate the close-knit feel of the business. Many of the team have been here for a long time, which says a lot about the company and its culture.
What are you most looking forward to in your role?
I'm looking forward to partnering with medium-sized businesses and bringing a knowledgeable, consultative approach to recruitment.
Procurement and supply chain hires can have a huge impact on an organisation, particularly within smaller teams. My role is to help clients make informed hiring decisions by sharing market insights and specialist expertise that they may not have access to internally.
What achievement are you most proud of?
Throughout my career, I've built and developed new procurement divisions within several recruitment businesses.
I'm also proud to have helped countless candidates progress their careers while supporting organisations in strengthening their procurement functions, improving supply chains and delivering cost efficiencies.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm originally from Yorkshire and have spent more than 20 years specialising in procurement recruitment. Before moving into recruitment, I worked in procurement myself, which gives me first-hand insight into the challenges and opportunities faced by the professionals I support.
I've worked across the UK and spent 10 years in Canada, where I gained valuable experience of the North American market and service culture.
Three words that describe me: Consultative, tenacious, and knowledgeable.
Just for fun...
Favourite holiday destinations?
Japan and New Zealand.
Favourite food?
Mexican food. I still miss the Friday burritos from Burrito Boyz in Toronto!
What's currently on your playlist?
A bit of everything. My tastes range from 80s synth and classical music to 90s grunge, country, and western. If it's good, I'll listen to it.
Please join us in welcoming Adrian to the team! If you're recruiting within procurement and supply chain, or looking for your next opportunity, connect with Adrian and say hello.
