Salary £22,000 to £26,000 depending on experience

Location: Leeds

To work for a leading construction and materials group and be part of a focused and friendly shipping department.

THE ROLE:
We are currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator to join the team in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Key responsibilities:
Timely & accurate input of all customer concrete and mortar orders.
Cost effective dispatch planning (shipping) of all customer orders through active liaison with commercial, operations and transport teams.
Timely response to all customer enquiries and complaints.
Specific support to the pre planning of major contracts or schemes in terms of production and transport capacity planning.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a driven and ambitious individual to co-ordinate ready-mixed concrete and mortar deliveries in a busy market.
You will be an excellent communicator and a proactive self-starter who can build effective relationships both with colleagues and customers.

The company is a leading construction materials group in Great Britain and Ireland. They produce cement, aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, Welsh slate and specialist concrete and clay products, and offer a range of contracting services.
