OVERVIEW:
An exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk is available at a modern, progressive company. Applicants should have experience with all aspects of purchase ledger up to and including payment runs, statement reconciliations and management of related and queries. Practical experience is essential though there will be support from a dynamic finance team.
THE ROLE:
Full time, permanent, office based initially then hybrid working available.
To assist a highly efficient accounts team with all aspects of purchase ledger.
Duties inc. Matching, batching, coding high volume invoices & payment runs.
Manage all account related queries and administration.
Daily use of Sage and Microsoft Word & Excel.
THE CANDIDATE:
Experience of purchase ledger is fundamental as there will be limited training.
Ability to remain accurate, organised and focussed whilst working towards deadlines.
Willingness to assist colleagues during busy periods.
Confidence when managing account queries and liaising with suppliers.
Knowledge of Sage would be beneficial but not essential.
