Part Time Interim Accountant

Salary: £27,000

Benefits: 3 full days or 5 half days based on 22.5 hours per week flexibility on start and leave times.

Location: Hull

Are you an experienced accountant with availability from mid September to March 2024? My client is looking for an interim on a part time basis to provide cover for a period of maternity leave. Based in Hull, the hours are 22.5 per week and there is flexibility on 3 days or 5 half days a week.


THE ROLE:
Duties and responsibilities:
Close ledgers on a monthly basis
Balance up one of the bank accounts and report to 3rd parties
Update our Financial Model with monthly actuals, to give dynamic P&L, BS and Cashflow
Creating monthly Board Pack and sending it to shareholders
Weekly margin reports
Budget work up
Audit prep
The role will initially work alongside the current Financial Controller until the start of the maternity leave then will report into the Finance Director


THE CANDIDATE:
You are an experienced accountant with availability from mid September 2023 until March 2024 and looking for a part time appointment
CVs from fully qualified, part qualified and qualified by experienced accountants with the required experience will all be considered
You need to have competent Excel skills and be systems literate. The company operate a bespoke finance system
A collaborative working style and a willingness to help is essential


THE COMPANY:
My client is a c£50m t/o business based in Hull working closely with the construction industry. The role will be based in their East Hull offices where public transport is available nearby.


THE BENEFITS:
c£27,000 for the part time hours of 22.5 per week.
