Title: Interim Management Accountant

Salary: £35,000 - c£45,000

OVERVIEW:

Great opportunity for a qualified/part qualified Management Accountant to provide cover for a period of maternity leave cover with a great company in the Brough area.
The role requires broad based experience, excellent communication skills and a willingness to complete a contract of 12 months duration.

THE ROLE:
Reporting into the Head of Finance this is a varied role with a wide range of duties including:
Preparation of the month end management accounts. Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies to ensure the financial data is reported accurately, including balance sheet reviews
Preparation of the year-end accounts and Financial Statements
Report to the Directors with timely and accurate financial information

Support the Head of Finance, suggest updates and reporting efficiencies of the business

Work closely with the management accounts team with the preparation of year-end budgets

A wide variety of other duties including involvement with VAT returns and Intrastats

Cashflow management daily, including overseeing income forecasting and payment planning

THE CANDIDATE:

Ideally you are ACCA/CIMA qualified and with availability to undertake a 12 month period of providing maternity leave cover. Part qualified and qualified by experience candidates with the relevant experience will also be considered.

You have broad based accounting skills covering both management and financial accounts, a positive mindset and a flexible, team playing approach. A high degree of systems literacy is required, particularly with Excel.

Own transport is essential given the location
