Title: Interim Director of Estates & Facilities

Salary: £44,000 - £47,000

OVERVIEW:

This is a new Interim maternity contract which will be covering until December 2022. This is an excellent opportunity for a person who has experience working as a Director of Estates and Facilities. It is a varied role and includes working closely with internal departments such as Health & Safety, Operations, HR and management teams.

THE ROLE:

You will be working within the education / public sector to deliver facilities management; estates operations support as well as internal teams

You will be responsible for ensuring support across all operational departments

Supporting premise managers, ensuring all sites and environments are safe

Acting as the Trust's landlord, responsible for all site acquisitions, Health & Safety requirements, risk management, strategic planning and decision making.

Working closely with the senior team, providing input and advice to estates and facilities matters

This is an interim contract covering until December 2022

THE CANDIDATE:

Proven experience of estates/facilities, Health & Safety management, and risk management

Experience successfully managing a range of staff, workers, consultants, and contractors

Leadership & management experience

You will have a high level of communication skills

Able to lead and motivate staff

Management / leadership qualification or equivalent relevant experience

You must have an advanced DBS certificate

Experience working in the public sector would be an advantage
