Finance Director
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000

Location: Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Director with an extremely successful, well established and highly successful group of companies in Grimsby. Working closely with the Managing Director and reporting into the parent company this will be a challenging, enjoyable and rewarding role.
THE ROLE:
Provide financial and commercial insight to the Board and in conjunction with the other directors and the trading team, manage these risks (including customer and credit risk and currency and cashflow risks).
Oversee the preparation of the company's monthly financial accounts to ensure these are presented accurately and on time.
Maintain and develop all necessary systems, policies, and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial and risk management.
The management of the treasury function including cashflows and currency positions.
The management of the group tax positions to ensure that all appropriate tax legislation is met.
Management of the year end and audit process including statutory accounts.
Management and control of the annual budget processes.
Monitor of external contracts and services to ensure they are operating effectively and provide best value to the company.
Management of payroll, pensions and other employments matters.
Ad hoc project accounting support and analysis both to the Board and the parent company
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA financial professional with strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commercial outlook.
Self-confident and articulate, with a great attention to detail and a hands-on attitude, the candidate should be able to communicate and influence across all levels of the business
