Full Job Description:

Groupe Atlantic are entering an exciting phase of development and have partnered with Edwards & Pearce in their search for a Quality Director. Since Ideal Boilers joined the Groupe Atlantic family (circa £2 Billion turnover and 8000 staff worldwide), the company has seen significant investment and development across it’s UK & ROI operations. The company are a recognised industry leader in their marketplace and have robust plans for their future.

The business is now looking to appoint a Quality Director to drive the company standards and processes forward in line with the groups objectives. Edwards & Pearce are operating as the retained partner and are keen to speak to experienced and passionate strategic and passionate quality professionals that feel they can support a progressive and driven company in delivering world class solutions and services across a varied product landscape encompassing both mass production and complex, low volume manufacturing processes along with field based customer facing operations and R&D activities.

This is a chance to join a thriving and extremely exciting business in a strategic position and a rare opportunity for the area. As Quality Director you will be responsible for setting, developing and leading all quality related activity for the groups UK operations encompassing their 2 manufacturing facilities, the associated supply chain as well as R&D and field based operations.  As Quality Director you will:

  • Establish robust feedback systems to gather and monitor performance against objectives within all areas of the business operations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and implement appropriate quality systems for departmental operations.
  • Continually review the quality function to deliver a programme of continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of traceability and ownership with quality at the centre.
  • You will possess a proven track record at executive level with a demonstrated competency for strategic thinking and leadership, with strong relationship   management skills.
  • Ideally you will have worked in larger company structures with multi site operations
  • It would be an advantage if you have worked for companies who have gone through periods of change and / or transformation programmes.
