Title: Versatile Accountant

OVERVIEW:

Are you an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with versatile, all round skills and would like to work in a sector where you can really make a difference? The role will work in a small finance team and offer flexibility on start and leave times. My client has a well known and respected name in the Hull/East Yorkshire area for excellence and reputation. THE ROLE:

Broad based skills in both management and financial accounting are required for this role along with first class organisational and problem solving abilities

Candidates will have day to day involvement with the wider area of the business, other departments etc so first class communication skills are essential at all levels

Previous experience of project work would be useful

THE CANDIDATE:

You are an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with good all round experience, strong Excel skills and a positive, proactive attitude

An effective communicator at all levels and with excellent people skills, you are looking for a role where these qualities can be used to their full extent while liaising with other departmental staff and other stakeholders in the business

Accuracy and attention to detail are important for this role as are good time management and organisational skills

You are the type of person who is happy to turn their hand to whatever needs doing in what is a small but very busy finance office and enjoy working with a friendly team

THE BENEFITS:

£40,000 - £45,000 + free parking + 27 days holiday (plus bank holidays) + staff discount. This is a full time position, 37 hours per week but with flexibility on start and leave times.
