Salary: £32,000 to £34,000

Our client based in Hull has been producing, marketing and exporting high quality frozen products for nearly 100 years. They are a family run business who pride themselves on their great reputation in the market.
They are now seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Coordinator to join their busy, friendly and professional team.

THE ROLE:
Your job as Technical Coordinator will be
Reporting to the Managing Director/Financial Controller, the role will cover and assume responsibility for all duties within the Technical Department of the Company.
To work with and develop systems within that department and other departments.
Being the main technical contact for customers and external agencies as well with internal departments, the role will ensure that products are manufactured to specification ensuring food safety, quality and legality.
Working and developing the Company's product specification database, HACCP, GMP; process control and manufacturing procedures.
Analysis work, quality systems, latest labelling & product legislations, microbiological result analysis and nutritional work will fall under your remit along with other given ad hoc tasks within the technical department which may on occasion require some flexibility in hours.
You will also work with and towards BRC (V8) audit and customer audits.
You will work closely with the Technical Assistant and the development of that role within the Company.
Customer visits and training courses may require, on occasion, overnight stays.

Working hours Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm

THE BENEFITS:
Holiday entitlement increasing by 1 day to a maximum of 25 days for each year worked between 5-10 years' service.
Salary of £32,000 to £34,000 dependant on experience.
Annual bonus based on company and targets.
