With the ongoing growth of the business the new position of Supplier Quality Assurance Officer has arisen within the company on a permanent basis.

THE ROLE:
Management of the company supplier onboarding programme to ensure supplier compliance to required regulatory & ethical standards. This may involve conducting audits of our exiting supply chain partners.
Define & create supplier audit questionnaires that cover all current and future regulations.
Management of the company supplier onboarding programme ensuring all activity is logged and managed.
Assist in the creation and updating of the company Procurement Policies.
Train and communicate the company's policies with suppliers.
Conduct relevant audits, monitor supplier KPI's & the sending questionnaires. Follow up where necessary.
Produce regular KPI reports for supplier evaluation including delivery faults and OTIF statistics for the GM - Supply chain and the Purchasing Director.
Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and compliance with purchasing / company policies.
Influence and action the supplier's chain to make required changes that may arise, monitor and follow up where applicable.
Assist the supplier approval process by assessing supplier capabilities and Health, Safety and Environmental risks and compliance with all current legislation.
Ensure all relevant activity is appropriately recorded on company CRM system.
Other tasks as may be reasonably requested by the GM Supply chain and company Directors.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

THE CANDIDATE:
Working knowledge of Current regulations.
Attention to detail.
Experience of working in a Quality Assurance role.
Excellent organisational and follow-up skills.
Experience in supplier audit procedures and techniques.
Excellent oral and written and interpersonal skill communications at all levels.
Significant experience in dealing with many suppliers.
