Due to a positive restructure a client of Edwards & Pearce is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to manage all aspects of a high volume ledger. You will be working alongside a dedicated accounts team processing invoices, reconciliations and undertaking payment runs and month end duties. This full time role would suit someone with considerable Accounts Payable experience and a professional, team orientated work ethic.
THE ROLE
Full time and office based
Work within the accounts team by taking ownership of a high volume purchase ledger.
Matching, batching, coding, reconciling invoices before undertaking payment runs.
Accurately process all related administration and solve all account queries.
To be the successful candidate, experience of the above duties is essential.
THE CANDIDATE
Must have the ability to process purchase ledger, reconciliations and month end. Possess experience working in a fast paced accounts department.
Able to remain calm, focused and accurate whilst striving towards deadlines.
Strong and confident communicator, able to prioritise workload.
Additional accounting skills could be utilised to assist the wider finance team.
Salary: c£25,000
