This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for an experienced purchase ledger/AP clerk looking to work in the west Hull area. Candidates should be familiar with large volume invoice processing, have good systems experience and be able to work collaboratively as part of an existing team.

£24,000 - £24,960 (pro rata for temp), flexi start and leave times based around standard working times of 8.30 - 5pm with a one-hour lunch break, free onsite parking, contemporary stylish offices with modern facilities and a really friendly team. Good public transport and road links close by.

The role will report into the purchase ledger/accounts payable team leader and will be part of a small, dedicated team processing high volume invoices c3000 per month and involving all the usual duties expected of a PL/AP clerk

Some support on sales ledger may be required occasionally along with other general accounts duties from time to time, extremely busy work periods, holiday cover, sickness etc.

Identify and address any supplier disputes, supplier payment runs and cheque preparation.

You are an experienced purchase ledger/accounts payable clerk with a high standard of accuracy, attention to detail and a curious, investigative approach. You will need to be systems savvy and a confident Excel user.
