Senior Operations Manager

Salary: £55,000.00 to £65,000.00

Location: Gilberdyke

Due to the continued success and growth of the business they are now seeking an adaptable and inspirational Senior Operations Manager to join their valued company. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work with an industry leader and spearhead the business activities.

THE ROLE:
As the Senior Operations Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the business.

Ensuring the business has the best working environment and business processes available.
To allow the smooth and efficient delivery of goods of the highest quality, on time and that meet the expectations of customers.
Ensuring robust KPI's are in place to monitor all operational aspects of the business.
Ensuring proper production planning procedures are in place.
Monitoring the current systems of supply of goods to ensure it is effective and working out a strategy for improvement.
Manage the maintenance of all equipment onsite, including the planned servicing of all critical pieces of manufacturing equipment.
Overseeing health and safety within the business and ensuring the business meets all current health and safety requirements.
Monitoring and reporting of all operational aspects of the business, from order intake, production and efficiencies, order fulfilment, production and logistic costs, staff numbers and staffing turnover. Analysing statistics and presenting these reports for the performance of the business.
Establish and maintain company ISO accreditation's.

Working hours of Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm, however must be flexible due to business needs when they arise.

THE CANDIDATE:
A proven track record of running manufacturing operations and supporting growth objectives.
An engaging demeanour, capable of leading and creating "buy in" to new initiatives.
The ability to identify and manage improvement processes and communicate the issues to those responsible and provide instruction and guidance on how to improve the processes, including Capex appraisal where necessary.
Ability and experience to lead, coach, inspire, support and motivate all members of the team and always seeking to improve best practice.
The experience of managing a large number of tasks and projects at the same time.
A strong strategic mindset.
Proven and passionate leader.

THE BENEFITS:
Salary of £55,000.00 to £65,000.00 dependent on experience.
