Management Accountant

Are you an experienced Management Accountant who is looking for good career potential for the future? Ideally ACCA/CIMA qualified (finalists considered) you would enjoy reporting directly into the CFO with a private equity backed business in Hull.

THE BENEFITS:
£42,000 - £45,000

THE ROLE:
This role will report directly into the CFO and will have the support of an accounts team of 5
Duties will include the preparation of the monthly management accounts, managing the cashflow, budgets and forecasts, prepare analysis of costs highlighting variances, prepare timely and accurate reports for the Board pack and meetings
Assist the CFO with the preparation of annual statutory accounts, VAT returns, audit and annual tax computations
Payroll with HR liaison

THE CANDIDATE:
You are a qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant with previous experience in a similar role. Candidates at passed finalist and finalist level will also be considered with the relevant skills and experience
An effective communicator, you are comfortable liaising right across a business finding the information you need and providing the financial information required upon which business decisions will be made. You form good working relationships easily and enjoy working collaboratively as part of an established team. You have a hands-on style and demonstrable broad based accountancy skills
A high standard of systems literacy is essential, especially with Excel.
Previous experience of working in a private equity owned business would be advantageous
