Our client is a highly successful leading 24/7 fmcg business with operations across the UK. They provide a world-class customer service to their blue-chip clients and are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their busy HR team working at one of their busiest largest sites.

This role reports into the HR Manager and will be working as part of a great HR team supporting the 24/7 operation at their flag-ship sites.

THE ROLE:
This role will suit someone who is looking to work in a large operational site in the fmcg sector and enjoys a full on busy HR position. The role will involve advising and providing guidance to site Managers on HR Best Practice, and on legal compliance and company policy. Supporting the HR Manager delivering the full People Plan and assisting with engagement activities and dealing with ER issues.

Overseeing and assisting with Payroll queries. Providing guidance on absence management, and performance management, coaching and upskilling Managers across all levels, managing HR systems including Time & Attendance through to payroll, supporting on recruitment and ER queries.

The role is full time 900 – 5.00 but if there is an occasion to do a disciplinary on the night shift it would be expected that the HR A would support if required (but would start a little earlier to catch the end of the night shift to accommodate that).

THE CANDIDATE:
CIPD 5
Strong ER background and excellent employment law knowledge
Experience of ER case management
Good IT skills
Excellent coaching skills
Worked in large companies in fmcg, manufacturing, blue/white collar industry sectors
