Title: Operational HR Advisor

The Role: (full-time 'excellent hours - working week'/ but could consider part-time 4 x days pw)

Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 (depending on exp) Plus bonus & private medical & great benefits

Location: Grimsby (Healing area)

Our client is looking to expand their HR Team, seeking to ideally employ a full-time HR Advisor (but could consider part-time 4 x days per week). This is an exceptional role, a true full operational HR generalist position working closely with the site Managers and operational staff providing HR advice, guidance and coaching in all aspects of HR, ER resourcing, performance management, absence management, capability, discipline & grievance, policy development and application. A solid all round HR generalist role with full exposure and involvement in HR at all levels in an environment where HR is very involved and respected.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

-Good knowledge and practical experience of HR best practice, including resourcing, employee relations, performance management, discipline and grievance, reward and general HR policy and employment legislation.
-Experience of contributing to the maintenance of positive employee and industrial relations (with some exposure to unionised environments preferred).
-Experience of working within a complex manufacturing environment preferred
-Experience of working with Trade unions & consultative groups is preferred.
-Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage a diverse and high volume workload
-Proven track record of delivering HR solutions.
-Excellent communication and influencing skills are essential
-Good level of analytical capability
-Strong IT Skills with experience of using HR systems including SAP and Success Factors.
-Compensation, Benefits and Pensions experience would be an advantage.
-Trained and experienced in delivering Hay Job Evaluation, psychometric testing and assessment preferred
-Ideally you will have at least 3 years working in an HR department in a manufacturing environment (ideally unionised) and be ready now for that next step up to HR Advisor level. Or you might want to be part of a strong HR team and enjoy a 'hands on' all inclusive day-to-day HR role involved in all of operational HR generalist tasks enjoying a busy full on role
-CIPD 5 ideally (but would consider CIPD 3 and possible support to achieve level 5)
