Marketing Manager

Salary: c£28,000 to £32,000 depending on skills and experience

Location: Brigg

This is an exciting new opportunity based in Brigg for an experienced Marketing candidate looking for their next career challenge and fresh opportunity to join a niche market leading business. You will have the ability to translate robust marketing strategies into tactical marketing plans. The right candidate will also have experience of working closely with a sales team to brief on marketing initiatives for them to present effectively to clients

THE ROLE:
• Create marketing campaigns/ project management from concept to delivery
• Campaign progress monitoring and reporting
• Maximising digital channels including website management, photography/ video, social campaigns, and content planning
• Developing and managing promotional materials including case studies and internal newsletters
• Managing email marketing campaigns
• Maintaining and updating company literature
• Supporting events
• Analysis and reporting
• Liaising with third party suppliers including agencies and photographers
• Producing creative content including blog posts
• Writing and proof-reading marketing copy
• Managing the administration of the marketing function and supporting the sales team
• Developing relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external
• Providing creative and constructive contributions with a confidence to challenge
• Conducting market and competitor research
• Work closely with the Commercial Director to ensure campaigns align with long-term commercial goals
• Manage budgets, provide forecasts and feed into the budget setting process

KEY SKILLS:
• A minimum of 2 years marketing experience within in a B2B environment
• An excellent understanding of marketing communications, both on and offline
• Knowledge of website platforms, SEO and PPC
• Experience with email marketing
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong copywriting skills
• Creative flair
• The ability to monitor and analyse results
• Some experience in photography – hands on or briefing agencies
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to clearly and concisely communicate information and ideas to the team in a manner that helps them understand the message.
• A proactive thinker and implementer with a "can do" approach to work and uses initiative.
