Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Location: West Hull

Are you a part qualified or newly qualified accountant? My client is a rapidly growing company in the advanced technology sector and needs a Management Accountant with a hands on style and broad based skills. The role is based in west Hull and is being recruited for by Edwards & Pearce on an exclusive basis.

THE ROLE:
Reporting into the Finance Business Partner, this role will suit a newly qualified or part qualified studying accountant (ACCA/CIMA) looking for a dynamic company on an upwards trajectory.
Preparation of management accounts, bank and month end duties, VAT returns, budgets and forecasting, finalising month end trial balance including prepayments and accruals
Become the first point of contact for the external auditors
Credit control and a variety of ad hoc duties as and when required

THE CANDIDATE:
The chances are you a part qualified ACCA/CIMA studying accountant experienced in management accounts and looking for a company who is really going places. You have a hands on approach and really enjoy working closely with colleagues both non finance as well as finance. You may also be a newly qualified accountant, perhaps looking to make the first move away from professional practice and make the entry into industry.
Ambitious for the future as the company develops through a period of rapid growth, you want to be part of that success from the ground up and want to utilise your skills and experience in such an environment
You are a clear communicator and have great inter-personal skills. You like a friendly culture and have strong IT systems especially with Excel. Preferably you will have previous experience of ERP systems.

THE BENEFITS:
