Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000

Location: Mexborough

Our client is a UK leader in the manufacturing of their steel products that go into the retail market.

Having been founded in 1936 they have grown and become a real leader in their field, making high quality products and consistently delivering innovative designs to their customers.

They are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead their busy and professional team based in Mexborough.

THE ROLE:
Lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and tooling. This includes being responsible for the generation of planned maintenance schedules and overseeing the adherence and timely completion of work carried out.
Key objectives include increasing site operational effectiveness, downtime reduction, supporting the development of, and implementation of improvement plans, achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
Working hours Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm.

THE CANDIDATE:
Degree or HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
A number of years maintenance experience at managerial level, with a broad understanding of best-in-class maintenance tools and processes, delivering reliability improvements and cost savings in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or IOSH Managing Safety desirable.
Recognised management qualification e.g., NVQ, ILM, CMI desirable.
Applied working knowledge of time, condition and predictive based maintenance processes.
Experience of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems and Preventative Maintenance practices.
Commercially astute with proven experience of setting and managing budgets.
Capability to proactively and insightfully identify opportunities, develop impactful solutions and drive a successful change programme.
Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Sound working knowledge of MS Office and SAP.

THE BENEFITS:
Working hours Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm.
Salary from £40,000.00 to £50,000.00.
25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
