Location: Doncaster - South Yorkshire

Due to continued success and rapid growth our well known, long established client has decided to expand their L&D department and created a 'brand new position' of L&D Officer as the No2 person in the L&D department reporting into the L&D Manager. (This role has a lot of scope, further development opportunities and excellent career prospects).

This is a truly great opportunity for someone who has some experience of working in L&D, ideally in a large manufacturing environment/ or has some understanding of this type or similar working environment, must have a creative outlook, keen to assist with creation, delivery of programmes, and evaluation of innovative L&D solutions with experience in digital content design and e-learning. A great positive outlook, capable of working unsupervised and enjoys learning new systems quickly.

THE ROLE:
Our client is seeking a 'creative' Learning & Development Officer to join their busy L&D department reporting into an experienced L&D Manager.
This role is a permanent position and is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual who really loves to interact with people building strong relationships supporting employees them in being 'the best they can be'.
The role will be involved in designing, developing and evaluating a variety of learning interventions based on needs of the various functions across the business.
Evaluating and assessing the training and making improvements.
Manage, develop, and delivering the Induction Programme for all new employees
Providing Learning Development support across the business, both virtually and classroom based.
Looking at e-learning tools - managing and maintaining.
Developing and supporting a large Graduate Programme.
Developing and supporting the Apprenticeship Professional qualification programmes.
Booking places on training courses, creating and maintaining training and skills records.
Working on multiple projects and providing training for several different stakeholders across the whole business.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate would have worked as an L&D Officer/Advisor with experience of working in manufacturing or blue/white collar environment (desirable not essential).
CIPD 5 level (or working towards) or intermediate level L&D qualification (3 or 5 level).
Previous experience in the creation, delivery and evaluation of innovative L&D solutions.
A good level of commercial and business awareness and understanding of the impact L&D has on a business.
Experience of digital content design is key.
Experienced in e-learning.
Must be able to demonstrate working in a busy, proactive environment, where being organised and capable of prioritising are essential.
Strong IT skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint and digital experience.
