Salary: £27,000 - £30,000

Location: Irvine

Our client is a leading, global manufacturer of bespoke metal for the oil and gas industry. They are looking for an experienced inspector to join their growing team in Irvine.

THE ROLE:
This role requires the resolving of quality and manufacturing related problems to enable work to be delivered on time, whilst maintaining and improving efficiency in accordance with the policies and goals established by the business.

Key responsibilities include:
Conduct inspection of materials and components, as and when required, for goods inwards, first-off operation and final inspection to meets the necessary standard.
Utilise ERP systems to ensure material status and location are recorded when necessary.
Provide engineering "hands on" support to all areas of manufacturing and act as liaison between all departments.
Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met and observed.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will have:
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specification.
Experience in MRP systems.
IT literacy skills.
Full training in inspection and experience within a manufacturing environment.
