HR Administrator

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000

Location: Sheffield

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and capable administrator to join a collaborative and friendly manufacturing company in Sheffield.
You will be supporting the HR Business partner with HR administration duties, assisting with such things as recruitment and company absence.
Working as part of the HR team confidentiality is of the utmost importance, previous HR experience is desirable but not essential, paid HR qualifications would be offered as long as this is remote study.
The company have free on site parking and they have a flexible culture, you are able to pick your hours as long as these are within core business hours.

THE ROLE:
Draft and issue employment contract.
Support with processing new starters and leavers, including all paperwork and correspondence.
Coordinate and deliver the HR Induction to all new starters.
Update and maintain HR systems and filing systems.
Work closely with the payroll team ensuring accurate and timely provision of paperwork for onboarding, offboarding, changes to employee's rates of pay and terms and conditions.
Respond to any first line queries.
Carry out all regular and ad hoc reporting as required for Corporate and Local needs
Take responsibility for maintaining the Intranet website with regards to HR news and information.
Communicate with external and internal stakeholders where necessary.

THE CANDIDATE:
Previous HR admin experience is desirable but not essential.
Must have previous administration experience 1 year minimum.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to deadlines.
Ability to organise and prioritise a heavy and diverse workload and reschedule according to business needs.
Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate at all levels.
