Title: Cost & Manufacturing Accountant

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Location: Barton Upon Humber

A niche role has arisen for a qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA accountant with a well known brand at their manufacturing facility in North Lincolnshire. Candidates should have a manufacturing background and a minimum of 2 years' costing experience. This niche role is focused on the costs and cost savings of this manufacturing facility.
-Develop and document the cost accounting system and records of the business.
-Analyse costs within each department and recommend cost savings.
-Review processes and procedures within each department and recommend improvements.
-Record and report on the effectiveness of any changes that have been implemented.
-Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
-Analyse any changes in raw materials to determine what effect it has on the cost.
-Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
-Assist in audits and general ledger preparation.
-Conduct physical stock takes and internal audit checks.


A qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant with a minimum of 2 years' costing experience, you will already have a manufacturing background and be looking to take your skills and experience to the next level.
Accuracy and attention to detail are of paramount importance to this role as is the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all areas of the business, including senior management and at Board level.
You will need a high standard of systems literacy, particularly with Excel and a real passion for the manufacturing process.

My client is a nationally known brand name with a manufacturing facility in North Lincolnshire. Located within easy reach of the Humber Bridge, Hull and East Yorkshire villages, Grimsby, M180 and the wider North Lincolnshire area.

£35,000 - £45,000 depending on background, experience and level of qualification bonus potential 25 days holiday plus bank holidays free parking free on site gym subsidised cafeterias
