Business Development Manager - Europe, Asia and Africa

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 D.O.E

Benefits: 23 days holiday plus BH, company pension, Company Car neg, International Travel, structured commission plan - paid monthly (one month in arrears)

My client based near Hull are a strong and reputable manufacturing business. They have an excellent reputation with their customers and their values align with everything they do. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Development Manager to join their dynamic, friendly, and professional team.


THE ROLE:

Self-generate leads and appointments throughout the world, including arranging and undertaking international travel
Generate new business and revenues through pro-active sales activity
Propose and organise our client stands at trade shows throughout the world
Close in bound leads that require genuine skill and understanding of the client needs
Driving your own pipeline creation
Manage the client relationship from initial enquiry to sales completion and develop relationships to drive repeat business
Improve accuracy of client information held by our clients, using their CRM system
Facilitating strong internal relationships and communication with operational colleagues
Providing sales reports/updates to senior management
Deliver a clear and structured acquisition pipeline with appropriate reporting

THE CANDIDATE:

International Sales experience is a Must
Industrial Sales experience is a Must
Is motivated by working in an entrepreneurial environment (ability to learn new skills and implement new ideas)
Demonstrable experience of securing large business accounts
Commercial and tenacious
Highly motivated by new customer acquisition
Likes to get things done
Willing to get stuck-in and 'do', as well as 'say'
Is driven by the idea of joining a business that they can shape the future of In-Air movement
Proficient on Microsoft office
Foreign language a benefit, preferably French or German
Driving license
Must live within a commutable distance of the Site.
