Working in a small close-knit busy HR department where no two days will be the same, getting involved in all things HR across several UK sites/globally in a truly operational HR generalist role which offers excellent opportunities to learn in the role and for further development and career progression.

Brief Description of the job:
Reporting into an inspirational and highly experienced senior HR Manager who is interested in developing the HR Advisor and getting them involved in key areas of HR. The HR team is a driven, focused and positive team working closely together.
THE ROLE:
The role will entail working closely with management/supervisory operational teams to help build organisational and people capabilities.
The HR Advisor will have a strong HR admin background and excellent IT skills, familiarity with HR policies and procedures and capable of advising operational Managers. The role will involve developing of line manager's HR practice by providing guidance, coaching and support.
Working closely with and supporting the HR Manager, the HR Advisor will support on all things HR (ER, Recruitment, Training, Wellbeing, HR Projects, Policies/Procedures, Absence Management, HR admin), being involved in HR projects, rolling out new incentives, and some possible exposure with global HR projects.
THE CANDIDATE:
CIPD level 5 (or working towards)
At least 1 / 2 years' experience working in a busy HR department
Ambition to progress in your HR career
Ideally worked in manufacturing environment (blue/white collar)
Exposure to a wider broader HR role getting involved in many key areas of HR
Excellent HR admin experience (strong on HR systems, data capture, Word, Excel)
Prepared to be "hands on" and work at all levels to ensure the HR department is effective
Strong communication skills at all levels
Excellent presentation of work (working to high standards)
Ability to deliver accurate work and meet tight deadlines
Prioritising work is essential
Team player - must be able to work well in a team and be prepared to do necessary tasks to achieve results
Organised, disciplined in meeting deadlines and working to high standards
A "can do" attitude, ideas person and problem solver - someone who brings energy to the team and prepared to "muck in".
