Location: Grimsby (part hybrid working position) - with some travel to local sites

The role of the In-house Recruiter is a stand alone recruitment role in their business but working as part of a very supportive, team driven HR team. The role of the In-house Recruiter has a lot of opportunity to really make this your own, be instrumental in building the very best and most effective recruitment service to the business and offers excellent long-term development opportunities working in a business that works to a 9.00 - 5.00 operation.


THE ROLE:
The main objective of the In-house recruitment role is to build and manage relationships with hiring managers and department heads to fully understand their recruitment needs and offer support throughout the process of candidate attraction to on-boarding for the entire business. The role has full responsibility for recruitment and is a great opportunity to bring your own experience and ideas to the role to create the best possible recruitment service to a great well respected organisation.

Main duties:
Work closely with hiring managers across a number of local sites to understand role requirements and build recruitment strategies.
Create comprehensive job descriptions creating engaging and inspiring job adverts.
Make use of all the relevant social media job platforms, search engines, sourcing tools and techniques
Manage internal employee referral process.
Build, update effective talent pools
Build, maintain and develop effective working relationships with agencies, maintaining the PSL
Conduct initial candidate screening and arrange selection for interview
Co-ordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers
Provide support with virtual and face to face interviews
Put a lot of time into the candidate journey, ensuring a positive experience with regular feedback
Manage and update recruitment databases and manage ATS system
Track and analyse hiring metrics
Support managers with hiring needs and budget spend
Participate in job fairs
Work with HR to support with job offers


THE CANDIDATE:
A strong team player and someone who communicates well at all levels
A highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail
Proven experience in the role of In-house Recruiter, or working in HR with full responsibility in a busy environment for recruitment, staffing agency recruiter who has the ability and desire to go into in-house recruitment.
This role will suit an individual who has great passion and desire to make the role their own, and own the recruitment process in the business bringing fresh ideas, and being instrumental in the development of the recruitment process for the business.
Excellent knowledge of recruitment Best Practice, and familiar with sourcing and using all the recruitment platforms available
Proficient in using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems)
Ability to work in a fast paced busy environment (can multi-task and prioritise)
Excellent communication, mentoring skills
