Interim Financial Accounting Analyst

Salary: £16.25 - £17.50 per hour

Location: Immingham

Immediate availability required for a 6-9 month contract with a major employer in North East Lincolnshire. Ideally you will be a part qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA accountant although AAT will also be considered. Strong IT skills are essential especially with Excel as well as previous financial accounting experience.

THE ROLE:

A support role to the main financial accounting function of the company, this is an added resource required for a period of approximately 6-9 months.

Maintain various financial records for retail side of the business

Accounting and invoicing to 3rd parties, assist in month-end closing financial accounting entries for the retail business

Journal preparation and entry, completion of multiple balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with required timescales and company policy, completion of various periodic internal and external questionnaires.

Assist in preparation of year end statutory accounts and provide assistance with wider financial accounting team responsibilities when required

Undertake ad-hoc accounting projects and special reviews as requested.

THE CANDIDATE:

Candidates should be available to start as soon as possible, therefore on short notice or have immediate availability and the ability to provide commitment for the duration of the contract

Ideally a part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with the relevant financial accounting skills, AAT and QBE accountants will also be considered for the role

A high standard of systems literacy is essential along with strong Excel skills

Having good attention to detail, accuracy and first class analytical skills are all important along with excellent communication and inter-personal skills. You will be working as part of an established team so being flexible and willing to help is vital.
