Management Accountant

Salary: £38,000 - £42,000

Benefits: Some hybrid working options + bonus + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Location: North Lincolnshire - South Humber Bank

Exciting times for this well known manufacturer in North Lincolnshire looking to recruit a talented Management Accountant. Applying candidates should be newly qualified/part qualified CIMA/ACCA and will preferably have a manufacturing background, previous experience of working with an ERP system and strong Excel skills. Candidates without a manufacturing background are also welcome to apply.

THE ROLE:

Preparation of weekly/ monthly accounts and ensure accounting policies comply with the relevant accounting standards making sure company policies are followed
Provide analytical review of both financial and non-financial external returns and financial accounts to ensure reasonableness, consistency and accuracy
Weekly KPI packs, fixed overhead spend reviews, providing strong cost control
Review asset register, balance sheet reconciliations (as per TB register)
Review purchasing spend tracking rebates, optimisation of payment terms, stock reporting
Identify opportunities for cost mitigation, propose a business case, provide commentary to the business to back-up accounts schedules

THE CANDIDATE:

You are an ambitious and talented CIMA/ACCA newly qualified or part qualified accountant with good management accounts experience

A competent/Advanced Excel user, ideally you will have experience of using an ERP system

A really good communicator, you are able to work collaboratively across a team and are able to both challenge and be challenged

Candidates must have a high standard of literacy both written and verbal with a high attention to detail and accuracy
