Senior Helpdesk Technician

Salary: up to £25,555

Location: Beverley

Our client is seeking a Senior Helpdesk Technician to join their team. This is an exciting role within a busy company which will offer variety on the day to day duties. They are seeking a well organised and experienced Helpdesk Technician who is good at delegating and looking to take that next step in growing their experience.

THE ROLE:
The role will require you to:
- Distribute the daily tasks to the wider team on a regular basis
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support
- manage and maintain licensing registers and assets
- provide technical support for the wider cohort
- deal with incoming queries and provide solutions
- create reports based on the activities of the IT office
- monitor equipment and organise replacements where necessary
- provide solutions for hardware and software issues
- ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to
- maintain reports on how to best improve IT across the company and regularly update procedures accordingly
- take part in the on-call rota
- partake in regular reviews with the team

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate must:
- have previous Helpdesk experience and a good knowledge of IT, preferably with IT related qualifications.
- Knowledge of various packages and applications are essential.
- Practical experience in the field
- Good time management
- Eye for detail
- Well organised
- Good problem solving skills
- Able to delegate effectively
