Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service and building strong professional relationships.
Review and oversee the preparation of annual accounts, VAT returns, and management accounts for assigned clients.

2. Team Management and Training:
Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to the accounts team, assisting them in their day-to-day tasks and professional development.
Help train and supervise apprentices, ensuring they receive appropriate on-the-job training and guidance to progress in their careers.

3. Client Meetings and Consultation:
Conduct client meetings, including initial consultations, to gather necessary information, understand their needs, and provide expert advice.
Confidently communicate complex accounting and tax concepts to clients, offering solutions and recommendations tailored to their specific circumstances.
Assist the accounts team in preparing basic personal tax returns for limited company clients, leveraging your personal tax experience.

ACCA or ICAEW qualification is essential.
Prior experience working in a practice environment is required.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
Effective leadership and mentoring abilities, with the potential to manage a team and train apprentices.
Personal tax experience would be advantageous.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines.

If you meet the above qualifications and are looking for an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of limited company clients, while also playing a crucial role in team management and training, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.
Please note that only successful candidates will be contacted for an interview.
