LOCATION: BRADFORD / LEEDS

SALARY AND BENEFITS: £35,000

KNOWLEDGE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Comprehensive experience of planned preventative maintenance
• Experienced in Developing progressive maintenance techniques and continuous improvement initiatives
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
• Able to motivate, lead people and drive change
• Plant reliability capable of meeting/exceeding throughput targets and delivering quality products to specification
• Budgetary control
• Health and Safety champion – promoting a pro-active culture to H&S in all engineering activities
• Identify and implement projects to realise the intended benefits


IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• At least 5 yrs within a Food Manufacturing Environment
• Project Management experience
• Experience of managing engineering teams
• IOSHH/NEBOSH qualified
• Effective change agent


ROLE INFORMATION:

• Responsible for providing engineering services that deliver the Plant related and engineering KPI’s Responsible for the Engineering team.
• Responsible for driving Continuous Improvement, identifying Capital Investment Requirements (Annually & 5yr plan) and delivering capital projects
• Responsible for the development of the Engineering team, building capabilities and competencies for the above using a coaching and mentoring approach
• Responsible for dept budgetary controls
